Pathetic attempts at reconnection with my Blog after a years absence...sad.
This is the image I used as a gel medium transfer which means that it will be reversed when done. the logical thing now would be to upload the final piece. Who knows...that might take another year.
Would like to upload my Montana World of Wearable Arts garment but can't until the judging is done which is still over 2 weeks away yet. If it's not accepted I shall post it everywhere, if not, it will appear at the show in Wellington from the 23 September to the 3 October. If tyou stumble across my wee blog, please pray to whomever you worship and ask for their spiritual influence...please. If you have nothing that you think is of a higher realm than yourself please the cross whatever parts of your anatomy you find appropriate...thankyou.
So, what do you think? The WOW judging panel of 2010 felt my garment was more theatrical or fancy dress then innovative wearable art. Hard not to compare with previous entries but will try not to be bitter and twisted. The goal was simply to enter, which I did...anything else was going to be a bonus and I wonder if I had set my goal higher would things have been diferent. We will never know.
